About me

Namaste! 🙏 I’m Prajeena. For five years I was a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test at ZenLedger, working remotely from Nepal and breaking things on purpose so customers wouldn’t break them by accident. Then I moved to the U.S. for a Master’s at East Texas A&M, where I also learned to say y’all.

At school I was the TA teaching System Design and Database Systems, and on the research side I chased GPS spoofers with deep learning alongside Prof. Jinoh Kim. Now I’m in San Francisco, building across backend, test automation and AI engineering.

I have a permanent itch to poke at new things. Right now that means AI (agents, evals, the whole circus) and system design, which a few interviews recently informed me I only partially suck at. Working on it. Hehe.

  • Led the move from manual QA to an automated Cypress framework (Page Object Model) covering web UI and REST API workflows across core financial apps, cutting manual regression effort by 50% and raising test coverage by 30%.
  • Owned test coverage for the financial data ingestion pipeline spanning 100+ exchange and blockchain integrations, validating that transactions were ingested, classified and reported correctly across 10B+ rows of customer data.
  • Built CI/CD quality gates in GitHub Actions across environments, with containerized test runs on PR merges and CRON schedules plus Slack failure alerts, so broken builds surfaced in minutes instead of after a manual QA pass.
